With a perfect harvest we had 20 tons of Chardonnay come off our field. This means we had to be creative...so we crafted 5 different wines from this vintage
Fermented at a cool temperature in Stainless Steel tanks, we used two different yeast strains to help amplify the fruit and give it a good mouthfeel. In order to retain this freshness, we bottled this Chardonnay exactly 6 months after harvest.
Notes of tropical fruit, citrus zest and hints of pineapple compliment this wine.
Pair the Stainless Steel Chardonnay with simply seasoned poultry and pork dishes, grilled vegetables or a citrus salad.

Good to Know
- Chardonnay takes its name from the village of Chardonnay in the Mâcon region of Burgundy.
- It is best served between 55ºF and 58ºF in a glass with a wide bowl and a narrow opening.
- Chardonnay is actually related to Pinot Noir! This is thanks to a chance crossing of Pinot Noir and an obscure grape variety called Gouais Blanc.
