Yonah Mountain Vineyards

Yonah Mountain Vineyards is a two-hundred acre family winery located on the southeastern base of iconic Yonah Mountain. Making world class wines and enjoying the process is our ultimate goal. Rolling hills and sandy soil are the perfect setting for our twenty planted acres of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot.

Owners

Bob And Jane Miller

After purchasing nearly 200 acres of former farmland in 2005, Bob and Jane Miller started their journey in the wine industry. Their vision is to be a boutique vineyard and winery that produces world-class wine to be served alongside any of the best wines from around the world. Strong family values are the foundation of Yonah Mountain Vineyards. Bob and Jane’s dream is for their children and grandchildren to share in this family business.

General Manager

Eric Miller

Eric Miller is the General Manager of Yonah Mountain Vineyards, overseeing operations, staffing, budgeting, and the winery's continued expansion. A former professional percussion instructor, Eric taught for 18 years, including 11 years at Georgia Tech, and co-founded both Odyssey Percussion Theatre and the Atlanta Falcons Drumline.

Since transitioning full-time to Yonah in 2011, he has helped grow the winery from a small family business to a thriving operation with over 40 employees. An advocate for Georgia's wine industry, Eric serves on the Georgia Wine & Grape Commission and is passionate about positioning North Georgia as an "East Coast Napa."

Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife, three daughters, and various pets—and if you're lucky, you might catch him playing drums alongside his dad at the vineyard.

Business Development Manager/Outside Sales

Matthew Vrahiotes

Matt has been involved in the wine industry since 2012 as a winery owner, winemaker maker, and farm manager. His passion for Georgia wines and the farms within it make him an ideal person to bring a little bit of Yonah Mountain to where our customers are.

Matt resides in Alto, GA, with his loving wife Lindsey and their three children. A graduate of Valdosta State University with a degree in Public Relations, before joining the wine industry he was a non-profit executive with several national non-profit companies.

His favorite Yonah Mountain wine is the Riesling because it reminds him of his childhood growing up in Germany.

Wedding and Events Manager

Arianna McCarthy

Arianna joined Yonah Mountain Vineyards events team in 2020, an eventful year to enter the industry! Since then, she has gained extensive knowledge about all things weddings and has fallen in love with celebrating such a special day with wonderful people. It has truly become her passion.


Yonah Mountain Vineyards holds a special place in her heart, and she finds great joy in providing couples with an experience that leaves them loving the vineyard as much as she does.

When she's not at work, she can be found hiking in the mountains with her two rescue pups or enjoying a rainy day with a cup of coffee, reading the latest murder mystery novel.

Tasting Room Manager

Justin Depascale

Justin DePascale is the Tasting Room Manager at Yonah Mountain Vineyards. With nine years at Yonah and 15 years in the North Georgia wine industry, he brings a wealth of experience and passion to his role.

Justin's journey in wine began as a tasting room employee while studying at the University of North Georgia. Since then, he has worked in nearly every facet of the industry—from assisting in winemaking and catering operations to managing internal events and tasting room logistics. Simply put, he's done it all!

His favorite Yonah Mountain Vineyards wine is the 2010 Totem, and one of his most cherished memories is watching the 2017 total solar eclipse at the vineyard alongside hundreds of guests.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys expanding his wine knowledge and spending quality time at home with his wife and their three young boys.

Winemaker

Tristen Vanhoff

Born and raised in Australia, Tristen Vanhoff relocated to Atlanta in 2010 after earning degrees in enology (the science and study of wine and winemaking) and viticulture, the agricultural of vine-growing and of grape-harvesting. As the winemaker for Yonah Mountain Vineyards, Tristen brings a passion to wine making that pushes him to strive for the best in all that he does. Tristan shares the Miller's vision for Yonah Mountain Vineyards as having a reputation for making only the very best wines.

Vineyard Manager

Jorge Camacho

Jorge has been in the vineyard business since December 2012 and became our Vineyard Manager in 2018. His previous work in the Yonah Mountain winery gives him a unique perspective when inspecting and managing the vines. Jorge's year-round work includes planting and training new vines, managing vineyard disease, cultivating, thinning, irrigation, harvesting, pruning, and frost protection.

Russell Sauvé

Russell leads brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement efforts. With a strong background in digital and traditional marketing, Russell focuses on elevating the vineyard's brand presence, enhancing customer experiences, and driving growth. His expertise spans brand management, content strategy, advertising, and analytics, ensuring Yonah Mountain Vineyards remains a leader in the industry.

Beyond his professional role, Russell enjoys spending time with his daughter, friends, and family. He also has a passion for playing poker and making music in his spare time.
